Charges for 2025

2026 will be updated in the Spring

Annual Handling, Storage and Haulage

The handling charge for the 2025 Harvest was unchanged at £9.90 per ton (2026 will be announced in the Spring).

In addition to the handling charge, you will pay for the haulage cost to your nearest store (Cambridge, Linton, or Northants). For existing members closest to Stratford-Upon-Avon, that will remain their closest store for calculating haulage costs.

You can choose to arrange your own haulage, working with our membership team, or we can coordinate it through our haulage partner FLB, it’s entirely up to you.

Camgrain’s Commitment: If your crop needs to be sent to a store other than the nearest one, for operational reasons, we’ll cover the additional cost.

We’re committed to making your experience as efficient and cost-effective as possible.

Ergot Charges

At Camgrain, we’re committed to supporting our farmer members with better value and more efficient processes. Thanks to our ongoing efforts to manage costs and invest in advanced colour sorting technology, we reduced our Ergot charges for the 2025 Harvest. (2026 tbc)

Why Choose Camgrain for Your Ergot Removal?

Advanced Colour Sorting Technology

We’ve invested in two brand-new colour sorters at Cambridge which work alongside the sorter in our Clean Wheat Plant, ensuring that your crop is processed to the highest standards.

Mobile and Fixed Sorting Options

At Linton we have a fixed colour sorter, while our mobile unit with two sorters provides flexibility and coverage across our Northants and Stratford sites.

Ergot Removal Guarantee

All crops with Ergot will be colour sorted before leaving our sites, ensuring they meet the required standards and reducing the risk of claims or rejections.
