Size matters

Most of us underestimate the true cost of on-farm storage, with all its associated logistics and labour costs, but when the figures are laid out in full, we think the comparison is unarguable.

Our 300+ farmer-members have experienced the cost-benefits of storage at Camgrain. Personal recommendation constantly brings new members to Camgrain which is now the largest farmer-owned grain storage company in the UK, with sophisticated grading, drying, damping and segregation equipment and 80+ vermin-proof silos holding over 175,000 tonnes.

Our investment strategy allows us to increase capacity as our membership grows. We also work with Grainfarmers to combine the storage strength of the two organisations.

We have a full programme of EU and DEFRA grant-aided development: the Processing & Marketing Grant is available to us - but not to individual farmers.
