Camgrain has been at the forefront of the movement to establish supply chain partnerships with grain processors, manufacturers and retail groups.

Our investment in high quality facilities, with the ability to dry, segregate and, if required, blend grain has impressed many end users in the milling, brewing and breakfast cereal sectors.

The Camgrain commitment to quality and service has demonstrated to our customers that they can be sure of getting the grain they ordered, on the day they want it, and at the correct specification.

This level of performance breaks down mistrust and allows all parties to take advantage of the very real benefits that can be taken out of the supply chain. Our aim is to make claims, allowances and rejections things of the past.

Our members benefit too, as an efficient logistics capability reduces cost and enhances the ex-farm value of their grain, delivering massive environmental benefits by cutting lorry waiting times and ensuring optimum scale and efficiency in processing cereals.

The ultimate expression of this philosophy is the establishment of a Vendor assured protocol, whereby Camgrain guarantees the quality of their grain deliveries to the consumer, leading to no duplicate analysis on intake and a speedy turnaround of delivery vehicles.

The Camgrain message has been enthusiastically taken up by major flour millers, Whitworths, working in partnership with Openfield and Sainsbury's to develop a unique sole supply arrangement that now generates a substantial market for milling wheat grown by our members - shortening the marketing chain by creating direct links between Camgrain's intake and our customers production line.

These type of relationships open the door for many other opportunities as the trust between partners develops. Being the "supplier of choice" puts Camgrain in the pole position when product development opportunities are being pursued by the retailer and their producing partners.

Camgrain has the ability to link into a National Network of Central Stores, through Network Grain.
